NPP Election Review Committee Nears Completion of Regional Tours, Seeks Contributions

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Election Review Committee is nearing the end of its regional tours, with the six teams expected to return to Accra by Sunday, February 16, 2025. The committee, established to review the party’s performance in the 2024 general elections, has been engaging with party stakeholders and members across the country.

According to William Yamoah, Secretary of the Election Review Committee, the committee will begin conducting interviews with individuals, groups, and organizations who have perspectives to share on the party’s election performance. “We invite all interested party members to testify and share their views,” Yamoah said. “We value the perspectives of all members and will incorporate your views in our findings.”

The committee has called on all members to contribute to the review process, emphasizing its commitment to inclusivity, transparency, and objectivity. “We strive to give a voice to everyone,” Yamoah added.

To facilitate contributions, the committee has provided the following contact information:

– Email: nppelectionreviewcommittee@gmail.com
– Telephone: +233540466684

Written memoranda are also welcome, and the committee has assured that all contributions will be faithfully collated and presented to the National Council.

The NPP’s decision to establish an election review committee follows the party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections, which saw the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, John Dramani Mahama, win the presidency. The committee’s findings and recommendations are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the party’s strategy for future elections.
