We, the NDC should learn from how the NPP was disgracefully booted out from Government by Ghanaians and do the right things – Vincent Asare Bediako

Vincent Asare Bediako, a former parliamentary candidate for the Offinso South Constituency, has called on members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to learn from the political downfall of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and take the necessary steps to retain the trust and support of Ghanaians.

Bediako, speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye with KOD, highlighted the importance of introspection and accountability, stressing that the NDC must learn from the mistakes of the NPP during their time in office to avoid a similar fate in the upcoming elections. His remarks point to the fact that Ghanaians, through their democratic processes, will not hesitate to remove a government that fails to deliver on its promises and expectations..

One of the key points Bediako made was that Ghanaians will always hold their leaders accountable, and if a government fails to live up to expectations, it will face the consequences. The NPP’s loss, according to Bediako, was a direct result of the party’s failure to address key issues such as the economy, unemployment, and corruption. These missteps, he argued, led to a massive voter rejection, one that the NPP is still recovering from.

Bediako called on the NDC to heed this lesson by taking action and ensuring that they don’t make the same mistakes that contributed to the NPP’s fall from power. According to him, the NDC must focus on key areas such as transparency, accountability, and governance reforms.
