Rapper Dank Demoss sues Uber Driver for denying her a ride due to her weight

Dank Demoss, a plus-sized rapper who publicly identifies as a “Big Beautiful Woman,” or “BBW,” has sued Lyft after one of the company’s drivers allegedly refused to give her a ride because of her size.

According to reports, Demoss, who weighs 489 pounds, tried to board a Mercedes-Benz vehicle that she had hired via the Lyft app earlier this month in Detroit. But the driver closed the car doors and wouldn’t let her in when he saw her.

A viral video of the exchange captures the driver telling her, “I’m sorry, I got no space in my car. My car is small.”

In response, Demoss insists, “I can fit into this car.”

However, the driver continues to decline, replying, “Believe me, you can’t. I’ve been in this situation before.”

Frustrated, Demoss asks, “So every big person, you turn down because they can’t fit in your car?”

Demoss, who describes herself on Instagram as a “PAID PHAT QUEEN”, previously revealed that she weighed 554 lbs but has since lost weight.

She officially filed the lawsuit against Lyft this week and has been updating her followers about the case.

Talking on how they hurt her feelings, she told FOX2,  “I’ve been in cars smaller than that after the suit was filed. “I just want them to know that it hurt my feelings.”
