NPP Election Review Committee Embarks on Nationwide Engagement
The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2024 Election Review Committee is set to embark on a nationwide visitation to all 276 constituencies across the regions, starting Monday, January 27, 2025. This effort aims to engage with stakeholders and conduct a comprehensive assessment of the factors that influenced the party’s performance in the 2024 elections.
According to William Yamoah, Secretary to the NPP Elections Review Committee, the committee has been divided into six teams, each assigned to specific regions. The teams will work closely with regional and constituency executive committees to ensure the success of this exercise.
The committee is seeking support in three key areas:
– *Securing Venues*: Assisting in securing appropriate venues for the meetings.
Stakeholder Engagement: Ensuring the attendance of relevant stakeholders and participants at these sessions.
Data Access: Facilitating access to constituency-specific data to aid the committee’s review process.
The NPP Election Review Committee, chaired by Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye, comprises eminent personalities from academia, politics, and law. The committee’s mandate includes conducting a comprehensive review of the party’s activities during the 2024 electoral cycle, analyzing the root causes of the party’s performance, and developing a strategic roadmap to rebrand the party for a decisive victory in the 2028 elections ¹.
