Mahama Names Bagbin as Speaker of 9th Parliament
President-elect John Dramani Mahama has nominated Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin as Speaker of the 9th Parliament. This decision was made in consultation with the National Executive and Parliamentary Leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Rt. Hon. Bagbin boasts an impressive track record in Parliament, having served as Member of Parliament for Nadowli, Minority and Majority leader, and Speaker of the 8th Parliament.
