John Mahama condemns the unlawful destruction of state properties
John Dramani Mahama, the president-elect of Ghana, briefly addressed the nation on 10th December 2024, following the unlawful destruction of state properties by some youth after the just-ended elections.
In His speech, he clearly condemned these actions and called on Ghanaians to desist from such actions.
The president-elect explained that the transition of power can create the impression of a vacuum of power.
He further admonished and encouraged all citizens to remain calm and avoid actions that would destroy our motherland.
John Mahama reminds Ghanaians that they voted for change, and this is the time to demonstrate their commitment to rebuilding the Ghana they want in unity and understanding.
He finally called on the president and security agencies to act decisively to curb the ongoing acts of lawlessness immediately.
