African Paralympic Committee Congratulates President-Elect John Mahama
The African Paralympic Committee (AfPC) has extended its warmest congratulations to President-Elect John Dramani Mahama on his decisive victory in Ghana’s Presidential Elections.
Samson Deen, President of the AfPC, expressed confidence in Mahama’s capabilities to lead Ghana to the next level of socio-economic development and prosperity. Deen highlighted Mahama’s track record in recognizing the significance of sports in national development, citing his transformational policy on sports .
The AfPC acknowledged Ghana’s hosting of the inaugural African Para Games in 2023 and looked forward to collaborating with Mahama’s government to further develop and promote sports in Africa .
Deen emphasized the need for a well-defined and structured sports administration that prioritizes proper management of sports. The AfPC congratulated Mahama on behalf of its Executive Board and membership.
This congratulatory message follows similar sentiments from other organizations, including the Socialist International, which applauded Mahama’s dedication to democracy and social justice.
