John Dramani Mahama Wins 2024 Ghanaian General Election
The Association of Private School Owners in Accra has congratulated John Dramani Mahama on his victory in the 2024 Ghanaian general election. Reverend Darko Ofori, President of the Association, extended warm congratulations to Mahama on his election to the high office of President in Ghana.
Mahama, the presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), won the election in a highly contested poll. The NDC opened its nomination period on February 22, 2023, and closed nominations on March 22, 2023. Mahama was selected as the party’s candidate on May 13, 2023.
The 2024 Ghanaian general election was held on December 7, 2024, to elect the President and members of Parliament. Mahama’s victory marks a significant milestone in Ghana’s political history.
