Dec. Polls : Former NDC Communications Officer Donates Election Day Snacks to 28 Constituencies
In a remarkable show of support, Yakubu Adams, a former Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asawase Constituency, has donated over 30,000 cartons of assorted drinks, mineral water, and biscuits to 28 constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
The gesture aims to assist NDC polling station agents during the December 7 general elections. Yakubu Adams, a devoted NDC member and scrap dealer, emphasized that the donation reflects his commitment to the party’s success in the 2024 elections.
Speaking to the media, Adams explained that the initiative seeks to motivate polling station agents and grassroots supporters to remain steadfast in their duties. He noted that many agents often face hunger while protecting the party’s ballots on election day, emphasizing that the supplies would help boost their morale and productivity.
Adams also appealed to other party members, particularly former appointees, to contribute to the party’s efforts during this critical period. The Asawase NDC Chairman, Faisal Dauda, expressed gratitude on behalf of the beneficiary constituencies, commending Adams for his generosity.
