GMA President honored for his leadership qualities in the Health Sector

The President of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), Dr. Frank Serebour has been honored by the CenBa Africa Business Excellence Awards for his outstanding leadership qualities in the Health Care delivery services in Ghana.

The award which recognized Dr. Serebour as the ‘Medical Leader’ of the year was presented to him at a short ceremony at the Bekwai Municipal Government Hospital, in the Ashanti Region, on Monday, December 2, 2024. He was flanked by his hospital staff and association members.

Led by Mr Stephen Fosu; CEO for CenBa Africa Business Excellence Awards and Mr. Emmanuel Fosu-Kwarteng, Board Member for the CenBa Award Scheme, Dr. Serebour was hailed for his disciplined and dedicated services to the Medical fraternity; referencing how under his leadership, GMA has become an enviable association.

He was also praised for his transformational leadership skills in making the Bekwai Government Hospital, where he serves as Medical Superintendent, a leading healthcare provider in the region.

“Anybody cannot mention excellence health operating services without referencing Bekwai Government Hospital. This place is a real definition of a healing institution.

The atmosphere and maintenance culture has made this hospital an enviable institution.

It is not surprising that in our evaluation of your status before this day, many Doctors, Health Professionals and Patients we spoke to shared fond tributes about your excellence and visionary leadership qualities.

You have positioned GMA too as a very respected association.” Said, Mr. Emmanuel Fosu-Kwarteng, a board member of CenBa Africa Business Awards, upon handing over a citation in recognition to Dr. Frank Serebour’s leadership qualities.

This is the 6th edition of the CenBa Africa Business Excellence Awards.
Prominent Business men and industry persons making a difference in their area of expertise have been recognized over years through this award scheme.
