Ayensu River Diversion: over 150 houses submerged

Around 150 homes in Gomoa Mampong have been inundated in the Kasoa Winneba Highway block as a result of the contractor building the Kasoa-cape Coast Highway blocking the main Ayensu bridge that connects to Gomoa Okyereko settlement in the Gomoa East district in the central region.
According to a report filed by Mireku Nyanpong on Kessben FM’s Breaking News, the major bridge was blocked by the contractor working on the road in an effort to build a contemporary bridge that can handle the level of water.
Passengers and drivers are now stuck as a result of the Ayensu River overflowing due to the contractor’s activity.
