Bawumia will revive Ghana’s economy if elected with his ‘remarkable abilities’ – J.A Kufuor
Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has stated that he is confident Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will revitalize Ghana’s economy if elected in the December elections.
He emphasized that one of the main reasons for his support was Dr. Bawumia’s outstanding abilities in economic management.
Mr. Kufuor praised Dr. Bawumia for his prior achievements working with the Bank of Ghana, which significantly helped to stabilize the local currency when he was in power.
He emphasized how important such knowledge would be in guiding Ghana’s economy in the direction of greater prosperity in the future.
In an address to reporters on Sunday, November 17, the former president called on Ghanaians to fully back Dr. Bawumia.
He emphasized the significance of a resounding victory, pointing out that the candidate has the ability to propel the country’s economic expansion and advancement.
Mr. Kufuor emphasized his conviction that Dr. Bawumia is in a strong position to bring about the kind of economic change Ghana requires, urging the people to acknowledge his ability and support his outlook for the future of the nation.
“Given the current global circumstances, I firmly believe that Ghana’s economy will experience significant improvement if Bawumia is elected as President. With divine guidance, he is capable of delivering on this promise, and I encourage you to support his candidacy.”
“I have observed his remarkable abilities in economic enhancement during my tenure, as he was integral to the Bank of Ghana’s team under Governor Dr. Paul Acquah, contributing to the revival of the currency,” He said.
