Ashanti Region will determine the winner of the 2024 elections – Mr. Samuel Boateng Provides more Insights

Samuel Boateng, a Political and Governance Analyst, emphasized that the Ashanti region has become a critical battlefield for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Responding to a question from the host, Nana Ziega, about why the Ashanti region has become such a strategic focus for the NPP, Mr. Boateng explained that every election has its strategic political processes, and the 2024 election is no different.

He noted that both the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are eager to win the upcoming election, making it a crucial contest for both parties.

Mr. Boateng highlighted that Ghanaians have experienced governance under both the NPP and the NDC four times each.

Therefore, the party that wins the 2024 election will be breaking new ground. This makes the election victory vital for both parties, although it does not change the fundamental election process.

He pointed out that the NPP recognizes the need to strengthen its presence in the Ashanti region.

Despite considering it their stronghold, the NPP understands that they cannot afford to be complacent and must intensify their campaigns to secure their dominance.

Furthermore, Mr. Boateng emphasized that the success of the NPP in the election heavily relies on their performance in the Ashanti region.

He is not surprised that the NPP is focusing on solidifying its stronghold, as it aims to secure votes by encouraging the people to support the party, regardless of the circumstances.

Moreover, Mr. Boateng mentioned that the NPP is conducting a robust campaign in the Ashanti region to mobilize the people effectively.

He also noted that the NPP is aware of the opposition’s improvements and is taking measures to counteract them, ensuring a successful election for the party.

In his final words, Mr. Boateng stated that the NPP’s efforts in the Ashanti region are aimed at restoring their votes and confidence among the people, highlighting the region’s significance in the party’s overall strategy.
