Adwoa Serwaa, a non-biological daughter of the late Ghanaian politician Akua Donkor has shared poignant details about her mother’s family life, revealing that Akua Donkor has had seven biological children, three of whom have sadly passed away, leaving four alive.

Akua Donkor passed away at Ridge Hospital in Accra on Monday, October 28, 2024 the age of 72.
She was a strong supporter of women’s and farmers’ rights. She was able to garner public attention and make a big difference in the grassroots groups she sought to represent thanks to her fearless and outspoken manner.
For the 2024 presidential election, Akua Donkor was put on the ballot as the third candidate.
