UGBS Clinches Top Honours in Graphic Business Tertiary Business Sense Challenge

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) emerged victorious in the highly anticipated Graphic Business Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC) finale, held yesterday at the GNAT Hall.

UGBS secured an impressive 86.8 points, outpacing Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and defending champions, University of Education, Winneba (UEW).

*Final Standings:*

1. University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) – 86.8 points

2. Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) – 73.5 points

3. University of Education, Winneba (UEW) – 72.5 points

*Bridging the Gap between Academia and Industry*

According to Mr. Zakaria Hussein, one of the organizers, the TBSC, aims to assess students’ readiness for the job market and bridge the gap between academia and industry.

*UGBS Team’s Triumph*

Jonathan Sowah, a contestant from UGBS, expressed his excitement, citing the team’s hard work and determination. “We’re thrilled to have won, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s competition,” he said.

Launched in June 2024, the TBSC went through several zonal stages before culminating in the thrilling finale.
