NSA donates to Kotoko, Wish and prays for Kotoko to return to Baba Yara Stadium

In a significant show of support for one of Ghana’s most celebrated football clubs, the Ashanti Regional National Sports Authority recently donated packs of bottled water to Asante Kotoko SC ahead of their game vs Samartex last Sunday.

This gesture not only underscores the authority’s commitment to promoting local sports but sources indicate the NSA’s desire for Kotoko to return to its traditional home ground, the Baba Yara Stadium.

Following the close down of the Baba Yara stadium in August 2024, Kotoko opted to the Obuasi Len Clay stadium as its home venue.

“Acting Ashanti Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Kwame Baa Mensa donated packs of water and drinks yesterday at Obuasi to support the Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC playing body before their crucial encounter with FC Samatex.

Congratulations to the Porcupine Warriors for a well deserved victory.

It is the prayer of all stakeholders that Kotoko comes back to their home grounds, Baba Yara sports stadium soon.
