UPDATE on Winneba Accident: 4 perished, 13 now in critical condition
At the Tailer Junction, close to Winneba Junction in the Central Regional, there was a horrific accident that has left four people confirmed dead and fourteen others critically injured.
This occurred following a collision between a Toyota Hiace passenger car with registration number AW 78-22 and a Toyota Vitz with registration number GW 907-24.
According to a report filed by Mireku Nyanpong on Kessben FM’s Breaking News hosted by Nyakoh Aboronomah, the driver of the Toyota Vitz attempted to pass a tricycle in front of him but collided with an O.A passenger express bus heading from Accra to Obuasi.
Both vehicles allegedly swerved off the roadway and crashed into a ditch.
