Thomas Partey fit and ready for our game vs Bournemouth this weekend – Arsenal Coach, Mikel Arteta
Thomas Partey is “ready” for Arsenal’s upcoming match, according to manager Mikel Arteta, who has verified Partey’s recovery from injury.
Following back-to-back matches against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifications, Partey left the Black Stars squad for the October international break.
In the two games the Black Stars played against the Falcons of Jediane—one a draw and the other a loss—the 31-year-old was absent due to “medical issues.”
When the international break ended, Arteta announced that the midfield player was fully fit and will likely start for them in their upcoming match.
“Thomas Partey is fit and ready. For Gabriel Martinelli, same as Havertz; we will decide today,” the gaffer said.
“Ben White, Timber and Zinchenko are quite close, we hope to have some positive news.” He said.
