Kessben FM at 20: Kessben Sports Rocked KNUST in 2010

Kumasi-based Kessben FM Kumasi hit 20 years since its first broadcast on 16th October 2004.

14 YEARS AGO, the ever-powerful Kessben Sports Crew rocked the KNUST campus and beamed live the Final Whistle Sports Show from Independence Hall ahead of the Black Stars AFCON Q game vs Sudan.

In appearance were Frederick Acheampong aka Achee, Oheneba Micheal Nyame aka Kwame Mekke, Awal Mohammed alias the Professor, Micheal Ashely Darko aka Summar the Machoman, Richard Anthony aka Tony Muntana and Prince Osei Sarpong alias Baba Yara.

Nana Owusu aka Nana Kotoko, Sakyi Akomea Boateng alias Siasia, Bashiru Adams, Dauda Seidu aka Baba Ashai and Albert Opoku represented the famous “Studio B”
