Statement: International Day of the Girl Child, 2024: Girls’ Vision for the Future
On this International Day of the Girl Child, we stand united in our commitment to empower and uplift the voices of young girls across Ghana. This year’s theme, “Girls’ Vision for the Future,” calls on us to listen to the aspirations of girls and to ensure they are equipped with the tools and opportunities needed to turn their dreams into reality.
As an organization dedicated to promoting gender equality and social justice, we recognize that girls are not just the leaders of tomorrow but also the leaders of today. Their insights and perspectives are vital in shaping a peaceful and equitable society.
