NAPO Urges Afram Plains South to Change Electoral Pattern

During his tour of the Eastern region yesterday, Wednesday, 9th October, 2024, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice-Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), addressed a gathering in Afram Plains South constituency, urging constituents to reconsider their electoral choices for the upcoming December 7, 2024 elections.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh expressed concern over the longstanding underdevelopment in Afram Plains South despite consistent electoral support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) since 1992. He emphasized that loyalty to a political party should be reciprocated with significant infrastructure and developmental projects that improve the quality of life for constituents.

“The NDC has historically taken Afram Plains South for granted, assuming that votes will always be in their favor without delivering on substantial developmental promises,” stated Dr. Opoku Prempeh. “It’s time for a change. The NPP, under the leadership of Dr. Bawumia, is committed to bringing monumental infrastructure developments that will transform Afram Plains South and uplift its people.”

Dr. Opoku Prempeh called upon the residents to rethink their voting patterns and support the NPP’s Parliamentary candidate for Afram Plains South constituency in the upcoming elections. He outlined the NPP’s vision for comprehensive development initiatives that will address longstanding infrastructural deficits and enhance socio-economic opportunities in the region.

As the campaign season progresses, Dr. Opoku Prempeh reiterated his commitment to engaging with communities across Ghana, advocating for informed electoral decisions that prioritize tangible development outcomes and improved livelihoods.
