Businessmen and women have expressed excitement over the sales boost after Asante Kotoko’s game with Young Apostles at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Following the closure of the Baba Yara Stadium, Asante Kotoko opted to play their home games at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Kotoko played their first away game with the newly promoted Ghana Premier League side last Sunday drawing 1-1.

Business owners in and around the Lan Clay Stadium in Obuasi speaking with Kessben TV after the game stressed that sales really went up for them due to Kotoko’s presence.

They underscored that the level of sales they recorded is unprecedented and wish Asante Kotoko would finish the season playing at the Obuasi stadium.
