Nationwide Demo: NDC’s ‘Enough is Enough’ Demonstration against EC underway across Ghana
A countrywide protest is being organized by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in response to the EC’s denial of permission for a forensic audit of the voter registration.
Across Ghana’s sixteen regions are experiencing the demonstration at the same time.
The party maintains that the existing voter registration is “sadly riddled with a lot” of inaccuracies and does not, in fact, “boost our confidence” in the Electoral Commission’s operations or support free, fair, and transparent elections.
Leaders of the party as well as all grassroots followers have joined today’s “huge” protest.
