“Nurturing Future Leaders: Obuasi Welcomes Star of the Sea School”
The owner of Star of the Sea school in Obuasi Robert Asmah has vowed to provide high-quality education that empowers students to reach their full potential.
Speaking at a grand ceremony to officially opened the school, a representative of Robert Asmah, Joseph Dartey said the school was poised to ensure that it lives by the theme of the opening “Empowering Futures Through Quality Education,”. This he said will be done through the able teachers and structures put in place to kickstart the basic school.
The school situated at Kwabenakwa in the Obuasi East district is equipped with state-of-the-art information and communication technology resources, ensuring that students have access to the tools necessary for 21st-century learning.
Again, all classrooms are fitted with air conditioning systems, providing a comfortable learning environment conducive to academic success. The school has also prioritized hygiene and comfort with clean and accessible washroom facilities for students and staff alike.
Also, each classroom is equipped with a television, enhancing the learning experience by integrating visual content into lessons.
According to Joseph Dartey who spoke on behalf of the proprietor of the school, said the grand reopening of Star of the Sea International School was not only a celebration of physical renovations but also a reaffirmation of the school’s commitment to nurturing the minds and spirits of its students.
Reverend Collins Marfo of the Obuasi Catholic church who was present at the ceremony emphasized the vital role that education plays in the development of individuals and society at large.
He encouraged the newly admitted pupils who were between the ages of 6months to 6 years and parents to embrace this new chapter with enthusiasm and dedication.
He commended the Proprietor of the school Robert Asmah for his good heart and dedication to give children a better place for better future through education.
The CEO of Love K ventures Love Konadu who was the guest of honor expressed her satisfaction over the facilities in the school which she said was conducive for teaching and learning.
Madam Frema Agnes tawiah a parent talked about her excitement over the facilities of the school and the cordial relationship that exist between authorities of the school and parents stressing that it will enhance effective teaching and learning.
