‘SWAG was not formed to organize football games’ – Andy Kerm replies Kudjoe Fiano, GHALCA chairman

Andy Kerm, a sports journalist with Kessben Media and a member of the Ghana Sports Writers Association (SWAG) has responded to a recent comment made by the Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA)

The GHALCA chairman Kudjoe Fiano following a serious bashing from the media about how the GHALCA top 4 competition is losing its relevance took a swipe at SWAG.

Kudjoe Fiano reacting to the bashing on Kessben TV jabbed SWAG stressing that if organizing football competitions was easy SWAG wouldn’t have stopped their annual pre-season football competition, dubbed the SWAG cup.

Fiano noted that, there are numerous challenges they are faced with yet every year they ensure the GHALCA top 4 tournament is organized.

Andy Kerm reacting to the comment made by the GHALCA Chairman underscored that if SWAG is no longer organizing the SWAG Cup that’s not a big deal because SWAG wasn’t formed to organize football competitions stressing the need for the GHALCA officials to do the needful by resurging the once revered GHALCA top 4 tournament.
