Ghana Steps Up Fight Against HIV/AIDS: 2022 Spending Assessment Unveiled
The Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) and UNAIDS Ghana jointly launched the 2022 National AIDS Spending Assessment (NASA) report, shedding light on Ghana’s investments in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Dr. Kyeremeh Atuahene, Director General of GAC, emphasized the significance of the report, stating, “Understanding our spending patterns is crucial to optimizing resource allocation and achieving our goal of ending AIDS by 2030.”
Hector Sucilla Perez, UNAIDS Ghana Country Director, added, “This report provides valuable insights into Ghana’s HIV/AIDS expenditures, helping us identify areas for improvement and ensure effective utilization of resources.”
