Gas cylinder brought for WASSCE Home-Economics practicals causes fire outbreak at Jacobu Senior High School (Video)
The Girls’ dormitory of Jocobu Senior High School was completely gutted by fire on Sunday.
According to a report filed by Kessben FM’s reporter on Breaking News with Nyakoh Aboronomah, nothing was left valuable after the fire outbreak.
He noted a leaked cylinder which had been brought for the upcoming WASSCE home-economics practical caused the fire outbreak.
Some of the female students are said to have used the leaked cylinder at the dormitory and it eventually caused the fire outbreak.
It’s estimated that properties wealth to be GHC,100,000 were destroyed. Experts say for the building that caught fire it has to be completely brought down to be rebuilt.
