President Akufo-Addo Receives Letters of Credence from Chinese Ambassador

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo received the Letters of Credence from H.E. Tong Defa, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ghana, at a ceremony held at Jubilee House.

Strengthening Bilateral Relations

President Akufo-Addo congratulated Ambassador Defa and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Ghana and China. He encouraged Ambassador Defa to discharge his duties effectively to promote mutual cooperation.

Upcoming FOCAC Summit

President Akufo-Addo informed Ambassador Defa about Ghana’s participation in the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) scheduled for September 2024 in Beijing.
