“The Minister of Agric should learn how to Speak Wisely in Public Sometimes” – Dr. Frederick Agyarko Oduro Reacts to Hon. Brian Acheampong’s Speech

Dr. Frederick Agyarko Oduro, a Local Governance Expert, says the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Brian Acheampong should learn how to speak wisely in public sometimes.

He has advised the Minister of Agriculture to be mindful of his public statements, as some of them do not reflect well on him and may damage his reputation.

Speaking on the Maakye Program on Kessben FM on August 12, Dr. Oduro expressed his concerns about the minister’s speech, saying: “There’s a history to what’s happening, and that speech of his that they will do anything and use any method to gain victory in the elections isn’t right and good.”

Dr. Oduro emphasized that public figures like Hon. Acheampong should be aware that their words have consequences, as many people watch how they speak and address issues before deciding who to vote for.

He cautioned that speaking in a manner that suggests using unscrupulous methods to win elections can harm his party’s image.

Furthermore, Dr. Oduro advised the minister to be mindful of the image he projects, as his words and actions can have long-term effects on his personal and political brand. He urged Hon. Acheampong to reflect on his attitude and mannerisms, as they may impact his future aspirations.

“I urge him to check how he speaks publicly because it is very bad and he should know that a time will come where he would want a position in the country and he has to reflect on his attitude and mannerisms,” he said.

Dr. Oduro concluded by stressing that even if Hon. Acheampong’s words do not accurately reflect his true character, they can still have a negative impact on his reputation and future opportunities.
