“New Beginnings: Lawyer Baffour Awuah makes a strong start in Manhyia South!”
Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, the newly elected NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Manhyia South Constituency, has hit the ground running with his campaign almost immediately. This is in pursuance of his resolve to secure over 85% of the votes in the constituency in the 2024 general elections.
It will be recalled that following his emphatic election last Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Manhyia South parliamentary primary of the NPP, Lawyer Baffour pledged among other things to work hard and ensure that the party maximizes its votes in the constituency for both the presidential and parliamentary candidates.
The party primary was occasioned by the selection of the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Constituency, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, as Running Mate to the NPP Flagbearer, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. The legal practitioner [Baffour Awuah, ESQ.] has been hailed by the rank and file of the party as a perfect replacement for the outgoing MP.
Lawyer Baffour’s decision to hit the ground running immediately after his election is a testament of his astuteness and a vindication of the confidence reposed in him by the party. He has also taken steps to reach out to all his opponents in the primary and has involved them in the constituency campaign.
The parliamentary candidate has in the spate of one-week, taken his campaign to some mosques and churches in the constituency. On Friday, 19th July, he joined his Muslim constituents at the Afia Kobi Mosque to observe Jummah prayers. He has also interacted with the chiefs and people of Afia Kobi on his campaign message.
