Water shortage hits Abuakwa DKC after excavator blasted main water supply pipe
According to the Assemblyman for Abuakwa Manhyia, for about 3 weeks now their taps have not been flowing with water due to a blast of a pipe water pipe to Abuakwa DKC.
Mr Evans Opoku speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Nyakoh Aboromah noted that an excavator working on the Abuakwa Road blasted the main water pipe connection to Abuakwa DKC.
He said following the blast last 3 weeks, every household connected to the Ghana Water Supply has had water not flowing at their homes since.
He said several complaints have been registered to the authorities for a quick fix but that have still not yielded in the solution of the situation.
