“NPP Communicator backs Matthew Opoku Prempeh as ideal running mate to complement Bawumia”
The National Patriotic Party (NPP) member for communications, Kweku Quarshie, popularly referred to as Biggiles, has praised the choice of Manhyia South Lawmaker Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh to be the running mate of the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to him, the ticket is ideal for ensuring that the NPP wins the general elections in 2024 with great force.
He claims that although Dr. Bawumia is performing admirably in Northern Ghana, it was imperative to appoint someone who would additionally solidify the NPP’s victories in its bastion, the Ashanti Region.
According to him, this makes Opoku Prempeh’s selection a wise choice.
He said this while speaking with Accra-based Original FM after the announcement of Dr Bawumia as the running mate.
Kweku Quarshie stated that “the partnership of Dr Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh would ensure a resounding third consecutive electoral victory for the NPP in the 2024 general elections.”
