Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, affectionately known as Napo, has been chosen by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as his running mate in the 2024 general election. As someone who has worked closely with Napo, I can attest to his exceptional leadership qualities, humility, and dedication to service.
Napo’s tenure as Minister for Education was marked by significant achievements, including the successful implementation of the Double Track System and the Free SHS program. He demonstrated his ability to listen, delegate tasks, and get results, even in the face of adversity.
What stands out about Napo is his servant leadership, his ability to work with others, and his unwavering commitment to delivering quality results. He is an excellent collaborator, and his tenure as Minister for Education saw no labor disputes or strikes.
