“It’s like a mini Olympic games, The All Regional Games will be a yearly event” – Asamoah Gyan
The brain behind the All-Regional Games, Asamoah Gyan has revealed the new event will be an annual event in which all the 16 Ghanaian regions will compete among themselves with the various sporting disciplines.
Asamoah Gyan speaking on Kessben TV’s Midfield Action explained that the All Regional Games is like a mini Olympics for Ghana where opportunities will be given to Ghanaian talents to explore and develop.
The All Regional games is set to be launched at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday 6th July 2024.
As part of the plan, the best athletes from each region will be chosen through trials, and these athletes will represent their region in competition.
After selecting representatives from the various regions, the events will be held in Accra among all the 16 regions competing through the various sporting disciplines.
