I hid my mum Nana Yaa Asantewaa (Ejisu Hemaa) to avoid insults towards her – Frank Naro (Video)
Ghanaian musician, Frank Naro has divulged that he had to hide his mother the Ejisu Hemaa from the public spectacle to eschew unnecessary attacks on his family.
The singer speaking on Kessben TV’s Music Plus with Mr Bonez noted that it was just recently the public got to know that his biological mother is the Queen of Ejisu in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, he had to keep that from the public due to the unwarranted attacks on the seat of his mother due to his profession which could simply generate some attacks.
He refuted reports in the media that he is contemplating contesting for the Ejisu Member of Parliament seat.
“Ejisuhemaa is my mother, She is my biological mother but I had to hide that because of my background, you know my profession.
I did not want anyone to insult her because of me and all that considering the work I do. It was just recently that through my sister the public got to know about that.
I’m not contesting for the Ejisu seat. For now, it is not something I’m thinking about” He said.
