Good coaching guarantees positive results, Black Stars is gradually rising – Saanie Daara

Ibrahim Saanie Daara, the former head of communications for the Ghana Football Association, has credited “good coaching” for the Black Stars’ consecutive victories in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

In the qualifications, Otto Addo guided the Black Stars to back-to-back wins over Central Africa Republic and Mali.

Ghana returned to Kumasi to steal a 4-3 victory over Central Africa Republic after defeating Mali 2-1 in Bamako.

The senior CAF media officer, speaking to Kessben FM, which Footballghana.com listens to, gave Otto Addo credit for the team’s consecutive victories in the qualifiers, stating that effective coaching always produces favorable outcomes.

“Black Stars is gradually rising. The win against Central Africa Republic is a testament to it because of their (CAR) performance at the AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast”

“The team hasn’t gotten to the level we will beat our chest and be proud of but good coaching guarantees positive results. So we need to throw our support behind the coach (Otto Addo) so he can perform his duties diligently. In the quest of doing his job, he will obviously have some lapses and when that happens, we do not have to hoot at him but rather encourage him” He said.
