Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi Supports Inter-District School Games with Donation
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Prestea-Huni Valley Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Mrs. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi, has donated six sets of soccer jerseys and six brand new footballs to the six Senior High Schools participating in this year’s inter-district games competition held at Huni Valley Senior High School.
This donation is in addition to an earlier contribution of Four Thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh4,000) made on May 27, 2024, in response to a request from the Education Directorate in Bogoso seeking financial support for the organization of the competition.
The donation was presented on behalf of Hon. Oteng-Gyasi by Mr. Francis Abeiku Yenkah, Constituency Organizer, Mrs. Efua Bimpeh, Constituency Treasurer, Mrs. Evelyn Amo, Deputy Woman Organizer, Mr. Thywill Quarshie, Electoral Area Coordinator, and other polling station executives from Huni-Valley and Aboso.
The Chairman of the Wassa West Senior High Schools Sports Federation and the Head Teacher of Huni-Vass, Mr. Daniel Kwabena Aidoo, received the donation on behalf of all six schools and commended Hon. Oteng-Gyasi for her commitment to the holistic development of the youth in the constituency.
In a separate development, Hon. Oteng-Gyasi provided tree seedlings, cash of Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc2,000), and drinks to the youth of Bompieso to support the celebration of Green Ghana Day at Bompieso.
