New Edubiase on the verge of Premier League return: “I’m confident we will beat All Black Stars to qualify” – Club President Abdul Salam

Division side, New Edubiase FC is set to return to Ghana’s elite league competition.

The now Obuasi-based football club currently leads the Division One Zone B league table with 51 points after 29 games.

A win away for the Yenko Nkoaa boys will secure them premier league qualification subjected to a verdict of a protest involving Holy Stars who are also in contention for the premier slot.

The president of the Club, Abdul Salam Sabato speaking on Kessben FM’s Midfield Action with Joe Laka expressed optimism of making it into the elite league.

“I’m very confident we are going to qualify. We are going to qualify if we beat All Blacks on Sunday. The verdict of Holystars should just come before the game on Sunday. All we are asking for is good officiating” He said.

New Edubiase FC, a club that brought so much excitement into Ghana Premier League years ago was relegated in 2016.

Vision FC in Division One Zone C has already booked qualification into the Ghana Premier League while Techiman Heroes are comfortably leading the Zone 1 league table.
