Ghana Music Awards are all about money, they’re using musicians to do their business – Anamon
Ghanaian musician, Anamon has unequivocally stated that music Awards in Ghana do not award merited musicians.
The outspoken musician speaking on Kessben TV’s Around Town with Quoo Fante stressed that most awards schemes in Ghana exploit from musicians with their awards.
According to him the organizers of these awards schemes are just doing their business through exploitation.
“I have won 2 awards. In Ghana awards, they are all money. In Ghana we do not do awards I tell you.
Someone is there doing his business and exploiting from musicians. That is not an awards. It’s a business.
For me if you invite I will ask you that how much are going to pay me. You can’t use my name to do your business.
Kwesi Pee and Screface have also said it, that awards in Ghana are all about money, they said they were told to pay money before they are going to be awarded” He said.
