Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu – Esq, the former CEO of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has showered praise on Presiding Members and Assembly Members across Ghana for their tireless efforts and significant contributions to the country’s development. Dr. Kokofu’s commendation came during a meeting of the Conference of Presiding Members, held at the Royal Lameta hotel in Kumasi, Ashanti region, where they gathered to elect their Dean and other executives. As a Special Guest of Honour, Dr. Kokofu took the opportunity to express his appreciation for the vital role Presiding Members and Assembly Members play in Ghana’s development.
Moreover, Dr. Kokofu assured the Presiding Members and Assembly Members that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has a vision for the local governance system and is committed to engaging with them to share his plans. He promised that Dr. Bawumia will soon meet with them to discuss his ideas and strategies for enhancing the local governance system, demonstrating his commitment to collaboration and inclusive decision-making.
