Kotoko should have scored at least 4 goals but for relegation, we won’t go – Hearts NCC PRO Kobby Jones

The Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak’s National Chapters Committee, Kobby Jones says Kotoko should have scored more goals in the 2-0 victory over Hearts last Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Kobby Jones speaking on Kessben FM’s Midfield Action sports show with Sir Joe Laka admitted that Hearts of Oak were just porous on the day and ought to have been disciplined well by the bitterest rivals.

He said if Kotoko had been a little sharper, they (Hearts) would have conceded more than the 2-0 goals scored by Steven Mukwala.

“They should have at least scored 4 goals. Our attack wasn’t potent and our defense was very weak.

It was a very bad performance but I tell you, for relegation, we won’t go. Know matter what, for relegations, we won’t go” He said.

After Sunday’s defeat, Hearts of Oak has dropped to the 14th on the league log with 38 points after 31 games with 3 games to go.
