Representing the Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Secretariat, his representative called on the private sector to seize the opportunities created by the AfCFTA. He urged those who wish to see development in Africa to support the implementation of the agreement.

The ceremony featured a flag raising procession, cultural performances, and a display of African unity and solidarity. It was a celebration of the progress made by the AU and a reminder of the work still to be done to achieve the continent’s goals.

In attendance were representatives from various African countries, including ambassadors, high commissioners, and diplomats. The event was a testament to Ghana’s commitment to African unity and its role as a host to the African Continental Free Trade Secretariat.

As the flags of the AU and Ghana were raised high, the gathering was reminded of the power of unity and cooperation in achieving the continent’s goals. The ceremony marked a celebration of African identity and a renewed commitment to the AU’s ideals of unity, solidarity, and cooperation.
