Evacuation of about 5000 Liberians from Buduburam Refugee Camp begins

Over 5,000 Liberian citizens have been evacuated from Ghana specifically the Refugee camp at Buduburam by their government and UN.

According to report filed by Kessben FM’s Mireku Nyanpong on Breaking News, the individuals were divided into three groups; the first group, consisting of roughly 700 persons, was transported today by roughly 20 busses.

In an effort to put an end to the ongoing criminal activity in the region, elder Gomoa Fetteh and chiefs recently demolished the Liberian camp, which prompted the evacuation.

Due to these operations, the majority of Liberians were made homeless, forcing their government to organize their relocation.
