Prince Kwabena Owusu Joins Which Club? “Both Kotoko & Hearts have contacted us” – CEO of Bibiani Gold Stars, Kwasi Adu
The Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Gold Stars, Kwasi Adu has confirmed that Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko have approached Bibiani Gold Stars for a possible transfer of some of his players ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Kwasi Adu speaking on Kessben FM Midfield Action Sports with Sir Joe Laka revealed that Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Prosper Ogum Narteh has been his long-time friend and has since been in touch with him over a possible player transfer from Bibiabi Gold Stars to Asante Kotoko.
He said Accra Hearts of Oak have also contacted Bibiani Gold Stars expressing interest in some of their players.
Bibiani Gold Stars forward Prince Kwabena Owusu has been on Kotoko’s radar.
According to reports in the local media, Tanzanian champions Yanga are also reportedly interested in signing the forward.
The Forward was set to join the Kumasi-based football club during the first round of the 2023-24 Ghana but the deal hit the snug at the last minute.
Asante Kotoko looks forward to replacing Steven Desse Mukwala whose contract runs out at the end of the 2023-24 season.
The Kumasi-based football club are expected to sign one potent striker in the Ghana premier league and possibly add another from the African market.
