Asutifi women threaten n@k3d demonstration against Newmont over delays in re-settlement process
Asutifi North district women in Damso have vowed to stage a nude protest against Newmont.
Kessben FM’s Obour Badwenba speaking on Breaking News with Nyakoh Aboronomah said they claim that they will take to the streets to protest in their undies if Newmont continues to drag out the process of resettling.
The women claim they were told not to consume chicken from the area after an epidemic of a skin condition was investigated.
Additionally, their water, soil, and cassava are contaminated, which is leading to an increase in skin illnesses.
