“If the players we invite to National teams are good it doesn’t matter where they’re coming from” Ghana is lucky to have Kurt Okraku – Desmond Offei
Black Satellites head coach, Desmond Offei has lauded the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku for his outstanding leadership qualities ensuring the development of football in Ghana.
The under-20 head Coach speaking in an interview with Kessben TV played down claims that the GFA president has some sort of influence in the player selection to National Football teams.
Desmond Offei rubbished the claims of any influence stressing the GFA president has rather been a very supportive leader.
According to him, there is no form of influence or pressure from the GFA president with regard to his work as a national team coach. He underscored that if the players selected are good it does not matter where they are coming from stressing that Ghana is lucky to have an FA president like Kurt Okraku.
“No no no, there is no form of influence or any pressure from him with player selection. With him, there is freedom to work so those claims are not true.
If the players are good, it does not matter where they are coming from” He said.
