C/R: Kasoa: Man c0mmits su!cide over broken heart

A young man believed to be in his 30s with his name given as Shadrack Fosu popularly known as Nana Yaw has committed suicide by hanging after a lady he claims he has taken care of leaves him in hard times at Kasoa-Shalom City in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central.

 According to residents, the deceased has lived with his wife for so many years and both have taken care of each other. However, things are hard off late causing the lady to relocate to Kumasi to find greener pastures.

The deceased was said to be in a normal state as of 4 pm on Wednesday 1, May 2024. But it was discovered around 5 pm that he had hanged himself.

He left a letter before dying and it is written " life is a journey, I started mine at a tender age. I have done a lot and I met a lady who I love very much. She takes care of me, guides me, and protects me but I take her for granted. I did a lot to her but now she has broken up with me. She has done a lot but I can't stay and hear her say she is getting married to another man. LIFE IS A JOURNEY AND I HAVE ENDED MINE. GIFTY THANK YOU

The Kasoa district police command has conveyed the body to the St. Gregory Hospital morgue.
