EJISU BY-ELECTION: BONWIRE HENE CALLS FOR CEASE FIRE OVER CHAOS ERUPTED LAST WEEK.

The Chief of Bonwire in the Ejisu Municipal of the Ashanti region, Nana Bobbie Ansah II, has called for a cease-fire over the chaos that erupted last week between the supporters of the Former Member of Parliament who is contesting as Independent Candidate, Kwabena Owusu Aduomi and the supporters of Parliamentary Candidate of the NPP, Lawyer Kwabena Boateng.

Nana Bobbie Ansah indicated that those misunderstandings and chaos that happened were not the habits of his people ( Bonwire Residents).

He urged the youth and all the supporters of both candidates to calm down and do a campaign devoid of insult and tribalism. This, he said, will warrant nothing in the end.

Last week, it was reported all over the social media networks that Benard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional chairman of the NPP was been hooted by some residents of Bonwire after he ( Wontumi) has gone there to campaign for his candidate.

This misunderstanding cost the beaten of one person believed to be a supporter of Lawyer Kwabena Boateng.

Nana Bobbie Ansah after hearing felt very bad and a disgrace to his community, Hence called for a press conference to address the issue

He warned all the hadrons that want to tarnish the good image of Bonwire to be careful and have a change of mind Or else he will descend on them heavily.

Nana Bobbie Ansah II made this statement at Bonwire palace after he called both supporters of Lawyer Kwabena Boateng and Hon. Owusu Aduomi to preach peace with them.

On their part, some of the Executives of both candidates assured the chief of peace and unity in the town.

They further rendered an unqualified apology to the chief, Bonwire residents, and the entire Ghanaians to forgive them over the disturbance caused last week and promised that would not happen again.
