It’s not the responsibility of Dreams FC to pay the GHC 37K NSA is demanding, we will take care of that – Sports Ministry to NSA

The Ministry of Sport has stressed that it’s not the responsibility of Dreams FC to pay any amount to the National Sports Authority for the preparation of the Baba Yara Stadium ahead of the Dreams FC’s CAF Confederation Cup game with Zamalek on Sunday.

The National Sports Authority apparently wrote to Dreams FC and the Ghana Football Association demanding an amount of GHC37,070 to prepare the stadium to host Sunday’s game.

Following the request made by the National Sports Authority, the Sports Ministry met with the various stakeholders and strongly noted that it’s not the responsibility of Dreams FC to pay the said amount before they can use the facility.

According to a report filed by Kessben Sports, the Ministry underscored that it would take care of what the NSA was apparently demanding.
