Ogum should stop rotating the Kotoko Goalkeepers & settle on the best – Kwadwo Poku Mahala
Former Asante Kotoko striker Kwadwo Poku has urged the coach of Asante Kotoko Prosper Ogum Narteh to settle on the best Goalkeeper at the club as his first choice.
Kwadwo Poku speaking on Kessben TV’s Extra Time sports noted that Ogum should have the balls to stick with the best Goalkeeper rather than to be rotating the three keepers for the premier league games.
Kotoko currently have Frederick Asare, Danlad Ibrahim and Moise Poutey as the three Keepers.
The Coach in a recent interview noted that at some point he had to rotate for all the keepers to have games to feature but Kwadwo Poku stressed that’s not the best approach.
Kwadwo Poku reiterated that during his time at the club, Kotoko had the very best Goalkeepers in Ghana namely Osei Boateng, George Owoo and Louis Quinoo but the keepers had to always fight to have their place in the team leaving the coach with no option than to always stick with the best.
